He can be removed from his Office by the President , only if a joint address passed by both Houses of Parliament with a special majority -LRB- i.e . , by a majority of the total membership of the House and by a majority of not less than two-thirds of the members of each House present and voting -RRB- is presented to him -LRB- article 124 -LRB- 4 -RRB- and 218 -RRB- . उसे उसके पद से राष्ट्रपति तभी हटा सकता है जब विशेष बहुमत से ( यानी प्रत्येक सदन द्वारा उस सदन की कुल सदस्य संख्या के बहुमत से तथा उस सदन के उपस्थित और मत देने वाले सदस्यों के कम-से-कम दो तिहाई बहुमत से ) संसद के दोनों सदनों द्वारा पारित समावेदन उसके सामने प्रस्तुत किया जाए [अनुच्छेद 124 ( 4 ) तथा 218] .
